Ladies & Gentlemen....

I am moving on to work on a new venture in Halifax, NS. Myself and a partner will be opening a microbrewery (or trying damn hard to) in the coming months there. It's been a great stay here in Moncton and I'd like to thank everyone for your ongoing and continued patronage.

Have no fear - the Pump House will continue to pump out fantastic beers for all and I wish them nothing but the best of success in the future. In fact I may be seen back here consulting and helping out as time permits. For now I'll pass the torch on to the other Pump House brewers and look forward to working together in the best interest of the Canadian Craft Brewing industry, it's all about great beer.

On Tap This Week

At the brewpub at 5 orange Lane we have Raspberry Weizen on tap, it's fresh, delicious and selling fast! It's a light German style hefe weizen with 40kg of raspberries added for a second fermentation.

Get some before it's gone. :)

At The Taps......

Sorry for the delay in updates here folks, we've been amidst a crazy busy summer!

- On tap now at the brewpub is our 'Thai Wheat', a German style weizen brewed with ginger and lemongrass and it's tasting fantastic.

- Next up within the next week is our 'Raspberry Weizen' , another weizen but this time brewed with 100g/L of whole raspberries, this is a great summertime beer.

- In the tanks is the long awaited return of Dementia Double IPA, this year clocking in at over a whopping 275 theoretical IBU's !

On Tap this weekend...

Our specialty beer at the brewpub this weekend is Weizen and it's tasting fine!

At the Barnyard BBQ we'll have our hop bomb - IPA on!

It's Spring Tra-la-la...

...so we decided it's time for a wheat beer, Thai-Wheat beer to be more precise! This is a bit of a twist on an old favorite - a German styled weizen brewed with ginger and lemongrass. It's spicy, acidic and lightly tart, a real thirst quencher and great session beer. 5.0% ABV

Currently on the taps at the Pump House brewpub and Barnyard BBQ....

- Maple Ale is on it's last legs, should sell out before the weekend
- Thai-Wheat will be taking it's place, on tap by Friday May 8th

SOB 6-Packs Released

Our SOB or Special Old Bitter (technically a West Coast style pale ale) has been packaged in 6-packs and released to the NSLC warehouse in Nova Scotia as well as multiple liquor stores here in New Brunswick. We will strive to get it into most ANBL locations over the next week to two weeks so if you haven't seen it in your store yet have patience as it should be there soon. It's also available at the Pump House Brewpub at 5 Orange Lane as well as the Barnyard BBQ at 131 Mill RD.

Maple Ale On Tap

Our new Maple beer is on tap at the brewpub and available in kegs as of NOW! Get your butts down to the pub to check it out, this is a smooth drinker so it's expected to sell out fairly quick.

Sadly and regretfully Maltitude RIS has SOLD OUT. Still on tap at Marky's Laundromat as of last night if you're Jones'n for a taste of the heavy hitter.

What's Happening This Week ....

....at the brewpub:

- Maltitude RIS will be gone by weeks end so if you haven't got down to the pub for a taste now is the time! You may also still find it at Marky's Laundromat on St George St.

- Taking place of the RIS will be our new Maple Ale brewed with Fenugreek and fresh locally produced dark Maple syrup. Complex and intriguing. AND... a sure sign that spring is finally here no matter what the weatherman says! Enough of the snow already. Sheesh!

Beer Wars: The Movie

On April 16th 2009 Beer Wars Movie will be showing in Theaters across the USA, unfortunately for us Canadians we won't be able to see it here. If you are going to be south of the border on April 16th I urge everyone and anyone to grab some tickets for the event online in support of the craft brewing industry. There will be a live panel broadcast in the theaters directly after the movie with host Ben Stein and a panel of entrepreneurs from the craft brewing industry.

Hopefully we'll be able to buy DVD's of the show after the fact here in Canada, or maybe even see a television broadcast of it.
